Spiaggia del Riso - gorgeous holiday villas right on the sea.
Down a pair of steps, past flowering oleander bushes and evergreen macchia, the path to the beach on the famous "Spiaggia del Riso" bay in Villasimius with its amazing rock formations, turquoise green sea and soft warm sand is 20 to 150 m long, depending on the villa's location. And in the distance, the shimmering blue silhouette of the undeveloped mound of the island to the south. Further beaches are only a stone's throw away: you can reach the long sandy Campulongu beach on foot and Cala Giunco with its high, white sand dunes is a few minutes away by car.

Dream houses
The "Spiaggia del Riso" houses lie in an enchanting landscape of sandy bays, inlets and curious rock formations and they have a wonderful view of Campulongu bay and the impressive south coast, thanks to their location on a gently sloping hillside. Embedded in an unspoilt natural setting and surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden with shady olive and olivastro trees and the typical macchia bushes, every house is an ideal refuge for a beach holiday. Whether on the covered terrace, which almost always has a terrific sea view, or whether on one of the comfortable sunbeds in the garden, you will never imagine yourself tiring of the beguiling interplay of colours and light and shade between the turquoise blue sea, the dark green macchia and the bright red bougainvillea. Not to mention the mild summer nights under a clear and starry sky.

The "Spiaggia del Riso" houses are owned by a long-established Sardinian family and form part of a group of villas where only the residents have access. The majority are detached houses and have between 80 and 150m² of living space. The generous and carefully laid-out outdoors area includes a covered terrace with a wooden table for 6-10 people and comfortable sunbeds with white cushions. The totally appealing interior decoration of these villas with new bathrooms and kitchens encourages a modern lifestyle.

Each house boasts 1 or 2 bathrooms, 2 – 4 bedrooms, a nice living-room with seating and dining areas, as well as a fitted kitchen with electrical appliances, all of them with a washing-machine and most also have a dishwasher.

More shops, a typical Sardinian weekly market and a large choice of first-class restaurants are only five minutes away by car, in the picturesque and bustling village of Villasimius and its surroundings. A marina is also within walking distance, where you can arrange unforgettable excursions to the offshore islands of Serpentara and Molinara.
