Charming Hideaways
above the Sea. Surrounded by verdant,
evergreen maquis bushes, the hideaways that make up I Nidi rest atop a small
ledge with fantastic views of the sea and the long beach of Costa Rei. You can
hear the sounds of the ocean. The beach is only 200 yards away and can be
reached by descending 40 steps and crossing a narrow road.
Terraces of Natural Stone and Wooden Furniture
Exposed wooden beams and beautiful
furniture crafted from dark wood create a warm atmosphere. The relatively small
living area of these units has been carefully divided to maximize use of
space. The houses have four (Nido 3) or five
beds (Nido 1,2) and there is also
a sofa-bed in the living room for guests. Each house boasts a spacious
bathroom with shower and bathtub and a living and dining room with an
interior fireplace and a cosy dining area. The modern kitchen forms part
of the living-room and comes fully equipped with a 240 litre capacity fridge, washing-machine and dishwasher.
There is a shower outside in the garden.
The terraces are of typical regional style
and constructed of natural,
pink stone. You will find a dining area plus garden furniture for outdoor
relaxation on each terrace. Nido 1, the northernmost of the four houses, is
surrounded by a terrace under the pine-trees with a barbecue made out of
pink-coloured natural stone. Nido 2, the middle house, has two terraces, one
with a comfortable dining area next to the living-room and another, situated
higher up, with comfy sunbeds. Nido 3, right at the top, has a small terrace
with a dining area next to the living-room and, at the back of the house, hidden
in amongst the Macchia shrubs, a very secluded
terrace with a granite
table and barbecue, for romantic evenings under the starry southern sky. Nido 4,
a small flat for 2 people with its own terrace, is situated under Nido
3.
In the Area
All kinds of
shopping, pizzerias, and restaurants are accessible on foot. Once a week the
traditional market offers you a big variety of fresh local fruits and
vegetables, regional specialities and traditional craft products.
