Is Molas

Is Molas is set in a lovely landscape consisting of intensely green maquis, pine forests and lush Mediterranean vegetation including palms and cactus fruits. The view of the sea, the Pula flatland and the mountains are magnificent.

Renowned phenomena of nature in this area include the sandy beaches at the Bay of Nora (only a few kilometres away) and the juniper-covered sand dunes at Chia, whose crystal clear, aquamarine waters are immaculately beautiful. And if it’s your lucky day, you might catch a glimpse of dolphins and, on the lake, flamingos. Not far from Pula is Nora, a large Roman amphitheatre that lies directly on the sea and is used for a music festival in summer. From Is Molas, the tower at Nora can be clearly seen directly on the sea.

Only 3 kilometres away lies the lively village of Pula which not only offers a full range of shopping options but also provides visitors with the opportunity to observe everyday Sardinian life close up, including an outdoor market and festivals on the town square. The beaches offer numerous sports activities. And for golfers there is the added attraction of being within a ten minute’s walk of the Is Molas golf course, which is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe.
