Muravera – home of lemons and tranquil beaches

Muravera is a small town, picturesquely situated in the fertile foothills of Sarrabus. Renowned all over the island for its aromatic oranges and lemons, Muravera captivates with its idyllic beaches that offer the perfect balance of liveliness and relaxation. The famous Costa Rei is also part of Muravera. The town itself is a veritable celebration of the Sardinian lifestyle in all its facets. The local handicrafts are legendary, imposing Saracen towers echo its past under Spanish rule during the 16th and 17th century, and in spring, the town honours its prime export – its famous citrus fruits – with its very own festival (Sagra degli Agrumi). Inspired, lively and full of the fragrant aromas of lemons and sea water, Muravera offers unique experience that unites culture and nature.
