The **** Mandra Edera Country Hotel
is situated in the middle of an estate lined with old downy and cork oak trees, in the charming province of Oristano, with its picturesque villages, impressive high plateaus and countless beaches. Built in the form of a typical Sardinian country village and lying amidst virgin countryside, this large, almost 30 hectare, domain offers its guests everything that the heart desires. This beautifully situated 4-star hotel set in fantastic surroundings is one of the few country hotels in Sardinia. Far away from all the tourist hustle and bustle, a peaceful and friendly atmosphere greets the guests, inviting them to unwind, assisted above all by the well-spaced location of the 8 single-storey suite bungalows (each of 50m²). This impression of space under imposing trees is echoed in the internal layout of the suites: large windows permit an unobstructed view of the surrounding garden. The Restaurant in the main building should be viewed as an old stylish country parlour – the comfortable timber-lined dining-room welcomes its guests to a single, long table. Thanks to a problem-free kitchen open to inspection, guests can look over the chef’s shoulder while he is preparing their dishes. The pool area was deliberately built slightly apart from the hotel complex. Totally dedicated to the guests’ well-being, the outside pool and terrace is at their disposal in the warmer seasons, as well as a part glazed over inner area right alongside available all year round, with a whirlpool, bar and a small massage room. In the winter, when it is too cold to bathe in the open air, part of the pool is sectioned off in the inner area and agreeably heated. Horse Riding
Our horse routes run in a wild fascinating land, surrounded by colours and perfumes like no other. Just ride your horse through the ancient paths while the sun is rising, wrapped by a light fog and Mediterranean scents, and your rider spirit will be fulfilled.

Near to the Hotel Mandra Edera, flamingos can be found all year round in the lagoons close to Oristano and Cabras and in the fascinating Nature Reserve, bird species can be seen today that have died out in other parts of Europe. Oristano province also has a remarkable amount to offer at a cultural level: Phoenician and Roman sites, menhirs, pagan sacred wells and prehistoric Nuraghes, as well as the distinctive fishing culture, make each sightseeing tour a unique experience.
