The small family-run hotel campus Genna 'e Masoni***, situated on the Marina di Cardedu (Ogliastra), is a small resort set on a gentle hill, with views towards the sea and the countryside in a quiet garden where the intense smells and colors of the Mediterranean creating a unique atmosphere. Consisting of two buildings, in SardinianMediterranean design, integrates seamlessly with the surrounding environment characterized by a typical cured vegetation, consisting of olive trees, myrtle, oleanders, cork oaks, arbutus, mastic trees and palms.
The 18-room hotel offers the perfect ambience for a relaxing holiday and is a mere 900m away from the sea and the beach. An ideal place for those who love to immerse themselves in an oasis of tranquility. In this environment, quiet and reserved, the simplicity of the relationship and the hospitable accommodations, introduce the guests to the enchanted world of aromas and flavors of our beautiful island ... the island: the Ogliastra.
Hotel
The upper part of the main building contains the reception area with the adjacent community rooms and verandas offering a breathtaking view. The ‘resort’ itself is somewhat away from the main building, right in the middle of Mediterranean vegetation.
As well as this, the campus has its own tennis court (without flood light), generous greenery for relaxing, a common room with internet service as well as a private car park.
Rooms
The 18 rooms, each with private entrance and equipped with the main services, ensure the privacy of guests and express attention to detail.
They are decorated in Mediterranean style with wood and Sardinian fabrics and come with private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, mini-bar, TV and a direct telephone line. There are ten Superior rooms with a privileged panoramic veranda and 8 Standard room (large double rooms with panoramic front garden). They enjoy a splendid view to the sea and surrounding countryside. From the balconies are visible in the distance the ancient villages rich in history and traditions. There are also two rooms suitable for disabled people. These rooms are meeting in structure and location, the existing legislation.
Small pets are allowed.
Restaurant
In the main building you will find the elegant restaurant "La Terrazza" with a roomy adjacent veranda offering an enthralling view of the sea and the beautiful hilly countryside – just the perfect location for an enjoyable evening with pleasant company.
We offer a wide and varied selection of à la carte dishes - pasta, meat, fish and vegetarian meals, not to mention several homemade regional specialities of Ogliastra - all accompanied by the famous local red wine "cannonau". Needless to say, you may also enjoy one of our delicious pizzas, baked in a wood-burning oven.
On the covered terrace "The four winds", which offers a splendid panorama, we serve a rich breakfast buffet.
