The Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel is situated on the South East coast of Sardinia, only 4 km from Costa Rei and 14 km from Villasimius, in a large open area of typical Mediterranean greenery where charming gardens form an ideal setting for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The hotel and its facilities
Built in typical Mediterranean style, the hotel is composed of a central main building with the vast majority of guestrooms housed in smaller terraced buildings. Ideal for couples and families, Sant’Elmo Beach is renowned for the high standard of professionalism and the quality of the services on offer. In the main building, along with the reception including a TV room, the boutique and the swimming pool with terrace/solarium, the four restaurants offer a guaranteed rich selection of gastronomic specialities. A play-park for children with a gazebo and the entertainment area are situated near the main building. From 07/06 to 12/09/2008 the hotel offers a Mini Club (4-7 years), a Dolphin Club (8-11 years) and a Young Club (12-17 years) in Italian language. The sports area consists of two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, a synthetic grass multipurpose court for basket and volleyball, all equipped with floodlights and a small gymnasium room for bodybuilding enthusiasts. There is also a modern and fully equipped Congress Centre (for up to 300 people) and a small beauty centre Comfort Zone available from June to September (fees payable locally), for those clients willing to couple work with relaxation by the enchanting Sardinian sea. The 175 rooms, all equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, mini bar, safe, bathrooms with shower, hair dryer and a comfort kit (bathrobe and slippers) are divided into:
- Classic Cottage (2/3 people): double rooms with an extra bed if requested, in the terraced buildings, all with a private and fully furnished terrace facing the gardens;
- Family Cottage (2 adults + 1 or 2 children): double rooms with a gallery for up to two extra beds, ideal for children until 11 years, housed in the main building, all with a private and fully furnished terrace facing the gardens;
- Connecting Cottage (4/6 people): two communicating Classic Cottages (4 people) or one Classic Cottage and one connected Family Cottage (4 people + 1 or 2 children until 11 years), housed in the terraced building, all with a private and fully furnished terrace facing the gardens;
- Junior Suite (2/4 people): double rooms with a separate living room with additional divan bed (2 people), bathroom with hydro-massage; suites are all situated on the 1st floor of the main building, above the Piazzetta and share a terrace. Restaurants
The Sant’Elmo Restaurant proposes half board basis with breakfast and dinner with buffet style and offers a special children’s menu. The typical local Restaurant "Il Corbezzolo" (for up to 70 people), available only for pre-booked dinner and at an extra charge provides, as an alternative, a Sardinian menu of meat grilled or on the spit. "La Rotonda" Restaurant (waiter service – for up to 100 people), available only for pre-booked dinner and at an extra charge offers a Mediterranean menu made up of pasta and pizza. "Il Belvedere" Restaurant (waiter service – for up to 70 people) offers special dinners with an "à la carte" menu and it’s available only on reservation and at an extra charge. The Grill Terrace, next to the Sant’Elmo Restaurant, the Pool Bar and the Beach Bar are always available for serving snacks or light lunches (at an extra charge). The hotel’s beach, located 350 m from the resort, is formed of white fine sand, surrounded by rocks, gently sloping towards the sea and is easily accessible in a few minutes walk via a footpath or via the shuttle service. Umbrellas, sunbeds and beach towels are all available free of charge. Another free beach is located at only 150 m from the hotel.
