The Sant'Efis Hotel**** is situated next to the crystalline sea of Nora bay. Nora is an ancient Phoenician, Carthaginian and Roman town, one of Sardinia's most important archaeological sites and one of the most beautiful places on the entire coastline. The building has an inner courtyard bursting with the fragrance and colour of plants and shrubs. Dense palm trees surround the pool to create a relaxing atmosphere, while a magnificent path of hand-sculpted stone leads across the garden to the terrace overlooking the sea, where you can let yourself be enchanted by the transparent waters while eating lunch or having a cocktail. The poolside restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy the best local and international cuisine. Rooms The hotel offers 50 well furnished double rooms in Mediterranean style, faced to the tropical garden or to the patio. All the rooms are welcoming and comfortable and have a great many facilities such as A/C with self control, satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer and shower. Three-bedded and adjoining double rooms are available for families. Restaurants The 'La Torre' restaurant is our pride and joy, as it is the only one in south Sardinia to be situated directly on the beach, with a magnificent terrace rich in colour, overlooking one of the most beautiful bays on the south-west coast. Here our guests can choose the best lobster fresh from the tank and enjoy many dishes that will satisfy even the most refined palates. After a long day, you can relax while savouring the vast choice of traditional and international food in the candlelit 'Oasi' restaurant, surrounded by a warm and relaxing atmosphere, alongside the pool with its underwater floodlights, with the refreshing murmur of the dense palm trees and the music from the piano bar in the background. What better way could there be to wake up than by having a good breakfast on the terrace of the 'Panorama' restaurant, breathing in the fresh fragrances and enjoying the view of the azure pool close-by, with the green palm trees and the deep blue sea behind? Surroundings The small town, which has a well cared for historic centre, is the ideal place to spend pleasant evenings in the company of the friendly local people. From Pula's splendid fine sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters, one can admire a view featuring the old Spanish tower on San Macario Island and the Nora peninsula, 15 km of coast. Alternatively, if you go inland there is a luxuriant plain and the Maxia and Is Caravius mountains, covered in woods with their game animals. This area's mild climate has permitted the growth of many well-known agricultural activities and 7,000 hectares of forest.
