The Free Beach Club of 430 bungalows can be found on Sardinia’s southeast coast, about 65 km from Cagliari. You get to the holiday village taking an exceptionally beautiful scenic road, which winds along the coast. The installations are built on a shallow sloping green site, a natural amphitheatre, and extend up to a very long, fantastic, white, sandy beach. The surrounding countryside, which is wonderfully varied and above all unspoilt, is especially notable for merging gently with the sea along the coast. Rooms
Surrounded by an evergreen flowering garden, the rooms can be divided into two main categories: on the one hand, the ‘Le Oleandri’ rooms, recently renovated and equipped with dual air-conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, safe, colour TV and minibar. The ‘Le Oleandri’ rooms either have a small veranda or a balcony. For somewhat more ambitious guests, there are also some Superior rooms on offer, equipped to the same level as the ‘Le Oleandri’ rooms, but which also have either a small garden or a balcony with a great view of the sea. The guests who stay in the Superior rooms will have sunbeds and even a parasol at their disposal, either in the garden or on the terrace. The beach is between 50 and 300m away. Restaurant
The Free Beach Club offers its guests a choice of two restaurants: the main restaurant, ‘Il Centrale’, in the main square and the panoramic restaurant ‘Moby Dick’, right on the beach, which is reserved for the guests of the Superior rooms. In the ‘Centrale’ restaurant, the chef spoils his customers, offering his specialities in the form of an extensive and tasty buffet, while the ‘Moby Dick’ beach restaurant additionally offers grilled fresh fish and meats. A visit to the ‘Le Palme’ Pizzeria is an alternative to these two main restaurants and is equally possible on full board, but on request. Here, alongside a wide selection of different pizzas, there are also ‘antipasti’ – starters - and ‘dolci’ - desserts. Both the ‘Moby Dick’ and ‘Le Palme’ are only open from 21/06 until 13/09. The Free Beach Club boasts a large freshwater pool for grown-ups and children alike. Further facilities consist of an Open-Air Disco, a nightclub with a pizzeria and a bar, as well as a small shopping centre with a tobacconist, newsagent, photographer, hairdressers and some boutiques. For sporty types, the Free Beach Club has 6 tennis courts and a basket- or volleyball court. An Entertainments team looks after daily entertainment, offering a Mini and a Junior Club, as well as various evening events.
