Found a nice little restaurant you can recommend to your fellow travelers? Is there a spot on the island one simply MUST see? Where would you go hiking? Windsurfing? Horse-back riding? Biking? Want to know more about the island itself? ...

Hi all, just saw this thread, I am looking for a place in sardinia in 2009, going over in Feb / March, to see somer properties. I want some land and a property to renovate 20 to 30 miles from the coast (could be more).
I want to know how much agricultural land costs per 2m
I believe i would pay 18% tax on final price for agri. land
Building must be registered on the land registry before I buy, otherwise i would have to pay, do not know how much this is?
I want to buy outright, with no morgage
I am trying to learn italian
I am OK with carpentry / redecs / plastering / roofing / 1st & 2nd fixing, but will need electrical and plumbing help. I am willing to trade some of my skills for help on others properties for help on mine (when i get it)
If some one who already resides in sardinia knows of a property for sale or can help in any way for a property search it would be very much appreciated. Regards, Boyde |
