Only 45 minute drive from Alghero is stintino and La Pelosa Beach. Probably the most beautiful place you will ever visit. I was shocked as I have travelled the world and here is a beautiful place only 2 hours flight from the uk. Amazing. Have a look at www.villadaphne.com as they have photos of the area on their page surrounding area. Their villa is lovely too with a stunning sea view. Take a look! |

Hello
I am planning a trip to sardinia 2005
june. After looking on different www
sites I have the impression that
lodging is mainly based on a weekly
bases. As I plan to drive around for 3
weeks I wonder is it easy to get basic
hotels along the way on a 1-3 days
bases at each place?

I too have been to Stintino and agree
it is amazing. We were lucky as we did
not know Sardinia at all and we were
tempted to travel down to Bosa or
accross to the Costa Smerelda. We
looked at Cosmedit.it web site and saw
the stunning scenery and this swayed us
as we did not want to do too much
driving. We stayed in hotel Roca ruja
right on the beach. The hotel is not
pretty on the outside but the sea views
made up for this. I would strongly
recommend Stintino!
