I am planning a trip to Sardinia with my boyfriend in early September. We have not been before and would like some advice where to go. We both like beautiful beaches and nice restaurants and bars, but somewhere nice a peaceful and quiet as well.
can anyone reccomend where we should be heading? and where should we fly to? i know easyjet flies to two airports in sardinina.

just on the off chance? we are 4couples
inour 50s who want to come to sardinia
during first wek of april , can you
suggest a villa/appartment etc where
all of us couls stay, somewhere in the
NW please thanks

Hi,
Having just found this site and noting
the date of your posting, I imagine you
may well have identified a place to
stay in Sardinia by now. But on the off
chance that you are still open to
recommendations, you may find the area
of Alghero to have the kind of mix
(social,cultural and stunning coastal
beaches) you are seeking. I was raised
on the island during part of my youth,
am an American and have visited many
parts of the island over the years. To
be sure, there is much to enjoy
wherever you land but Alghero is a
wonderful entry point (and with a car
rental you can also travel all along
the northwest coast to Santa Teresa di
Gallura and catch a ferry to Corsica (a
must,really!). Happy to offer more
suggestions if you need them. Buon
