Found a nice little restaurant you can recommend to your fellow travelers? Is there a spot on the island one simply MUST see? Where would you go hiking? Windsurfing? Horse-back riding? Biking? Want to know more about the island itself? ...

There is a possibility that my fiancee and I will be moving to Sardinia (probably the Olbia area) and I would like to hear from a local what I can expect. For example, economy, taxes, property for rent/sale, cultural ways that are important to know and abide by and any other topic that would be important.
I appreciate the help as I am travelling there for a meeting on Monday March 08.

my husband is from the island (south).
the people are very nice but tend to
stare a lot but its nothing bad. enjoy
the food as italians love to see you
eat but dont like to see women drunk.
